you'll have to let us know how much this sells for.  It looks like a beautiful home.  I always feel a bit sad with foreclosures though.

Who are you representing in this auction? Are you representing the owners (bank)?

Tammy - I'm with you.  It is happening to far too many people I know.  I will let you know how the auction turns out.

Tim - Our company previously had the home listed for the bank.  They pulled the listing and turned the sale of the property over to a third party auction company.  Our role now is to hold the open houses and facilitate the company's efforts.  If the property sells, we will be paid a commission something less than when we had it listed.  If one of our buyers purchases the home will are paid an additional fee.  Because price is determined by means of an auction there is no real negotiating to take place.  I think it is an effort to liquidate as quickly as possible without ostracizing the real estate community that has been marketing the properties for them in the process.

Can I say that this is insane as well?  Not for the same reasons obviously, but wow!!!  What a price.  Let me know the result of this OK?

That is the truth Larry!  This is a custom home with beautiful mountain views.  I am making sure all of my clients know of this wonderful opportunity.
