It is a gorgeous day in Central Oregon! For the second day in a row we can expect 70 degrees in mid November. That is a special treat not to be wasted! So what are the options?

- How about a strenuous hike up Misery Ridge at Smith Rock State Park?
- Or take the kids on a bike ride through Redmond's Dry Canyon.

- The Deschutes River Trail is a great place for either a hike or a low key mountain bike ride.
- For a little more adventure on the mountain bike, try the Tumalo Falls Trail at Tumalo State Park.
For those living in the area, it would be a great day to get the yard cleaned up for the winter. For those visiting, try one of the options above and go play!
And if you haven't been to our beautiful Central Oregon area to explore all it has to offer, "What are you waiting for?"

I love that area out there so much, beautiful pics. I was coming in from 97 and stopped in Biggs last night before coming in early to Portland on teh 84. Woke up to a gorgeous morning and drive in . Portland was foggy.
Very nice ideas Terri. How about rafting, you might need a wet suit to keep warm tho.
Glad you were able to enjoy a clear and sunny drive home Timothy.
Rafting might be one step to far Fred :~) Although I am sure there are those up for it! We have so many sunny days that I've gotten to be a little far weather in my outings.
