Spring is here!  What better way to kick it off than with the first Walk the Art Beat of the season?!

 

SPRING WALK THE ART BEAT

Friday April 24th, 2009

DownTown Redmond from 5:00-8:00pm

 

This event will showcase the talents of our Local Youth in:  Art, Music, Drama & Writing

Art showcased at local merchants will include that of elementary, middle and high school students from the Redmond School District, the Boys and Girls Club, St. Thomas Academy, Evergreen Academy, Caldera, Chair-ity for Children, and much more!

I love the art and writings of fresh young minds.  We will be having a "street painting festival" soon with lots of work by students.  I hope you get to go to your event and we'll get to see some photos.

Dearest Terri, Hi from Iowa! Your mom sent me this site i was amazed at all the wonderful things you do you always was a go getter. I don't see your mom much ran into to her and Tina at walmarts one day and have not seen them since. I didn't know if you would get this but i'd love to keep in touch if you want. I don't see Jean and your dad much so pray they are ok. It look's like your mother has it togetter and great for her i always loved your mom she was fun to talk to and i miss that some time's. I sure miss momma she died in 92 still seems like yesterday to me she was my best friend i miss her so. I married a man in 85 gosh thats a while back but he is good to me and Mike who is in prison now wrong place at the wrong time thing. Any way my hubby and i adopted a baby in 98 and he will be 12 the 22cd. of this month May gosh time fly's wish i could say when your having fun but it's been a long road. I have a lot of health problems had a hear att. in 96 and its been down hill ever since all i ask of god is please let me wake up and plant my feet on the floor one more day just want to see Chris go to high school oh thats the baby we adopted not a baby now. But we had to start all over again crib dippers cloths high chair ect.ect. but we did it and so far still living. Well Terri i didn't mean to write a book just wanted to let you know i love your site and hope you email soon....love you and long time no see....Judy.

That is cool that they actually have an event especially for the kids. This can really boost a childs self esteem if they can shine!

I do agree Todd!  I still remember those encouraging comments from teachers and family as a kid.  It's funny the things that stick with us through our lives so it's important to make them positive!
